After two very enjoyable years at Fisherton Mill in Salisbury, I’ve moved the studio-workshop and boutique to a new location that’s a little (well, a lot) closer to home, in Winchester.
the new studio
The new studio is on the top floor of The Consortium on Jewry Street – equally a haven for all things beautiful, original and quirky. Owners J and Mary set up this family run business some twenty years ago, following their love of vintage furniture. I have to say it’s a love I share, and, as a former Interior Designer, a bit of a weakness of mine. The Consortium is now an Aladdin’s cave of much more than lovely furniture, with independent clothing boutique Mint Tea on the first floor, beautiful rugs and home textiles on the second and on the top floor, myself and local artist Amelia McGregor in the opposite studio.
I’m excited to have joined the community at The Consortium, and after a week or two to get organised, the new studio should be fully open at the start of September. There will be an official opening event in September, and if you’d like to be added to the mailing list for the invite please fill in my contact form to let me know.
In the meantime, if you’re passing or have something you want to discuss, please call in – I’m here and working, just surrounded by boxes and not looking very together just yet!
a fond farewell
… but not goodbye, to the lovely Fisherton Mill. It’s been a real pleasure working here with my lovely local customers, alongside my fellow studio community, and the fabulous Fisherton Mill crew, led by Deborah and Micheal. I’ll miss the wafts of delicious food from the kitchen, but at least I’ll be out of temptations way ;).
I hope all will come to visit the new studio at some point. Meanwhile I will be popping back to the Mill from time to time to see customers and refresh the stock of my limited edition pieces in the Gallery Shop. So please stay in touch!
I’ll keep everyone up to date with events, pop ups and shows that I plan to do.
